The Beverly Center

Beverly Center Escalators

With ‘Shopping’ cited as one of the top reasons to visit California, is it no wonder that there are some massive complexes in the state?  In this the Beverly Centre doesn’t disappoint.

With eight storeys, over 160 stores and restaurants, and a cinema complex featuring 13 screens, this ‘Mall’ caters to every budget.  Including massive legacy stores Bloomingdales and Macys, at 163,000ft² and 220,000ft², the Beverly Center doesn’t lack in variety.

Located between La Cienega, San Vicente, and Beverly Boulevards, the shopping complex features some 900,00ft² of retail space.

Beverly Center brands

Last year celebrating its 15th birthday, the shopping complex also features international brands like Dior, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Coach and a soon to be open Salvatore Ferragamo, alongside more traditional American brands like Banana Republic, Bed Bath & Beyond and Victoria’s Secret.

The Beverly Center is continuously changing, only recently welcoming Burberry, Calvin Klein, Ed Hardy, Kira Plastinina, Togs SoHo, and high-end watch seller Paragon Watch Co.

For a long day’s shopping, you’ll need to make sure you refuel to keep your energy levels up, so why not pop by the Rooftop Terrace to grab a quick bite.  While you’re there, sit back and enjoy the view of the downtown skyline, as well as the famous neighbouring ‘Hollywood’ sign.

Food outlets include Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, California Pizza Kitchen, Chipotle Mexican Grill, De Euro Cafe, Hibachi-San and Panda Express.

With a mall this big, don’t be afraid if you find yourself a bit lost, with Guest Services on level six, all questions about the complex, or even about the surrounds, can be thrown their way.

Driving is probably the best form of transport to the Beverly Centre, not only is it the most convenient, but there’s plenty of parking, and it means that you won’t have to carry your purchases too far!
